User information in UAA Blackboard
Blackboard is a web-based learning management system that allows instructors to create online course materials and deliver them to students. The system synchronizes user information, courses, enrollments, and settings. Students can submit and view assignments, view grades, and make connections with fellow students. The UAA Blackboard portal allows students to access all of their course materials on one website. Users can login using their username and password. This means you don’t need to set up separate accounts to access Blackboard.
If you have lost your password, you can use the password recovery tool to retrieve it and then sign in to the UAA Blackboard portal. During the log-in process, you can access your UAA Blackboard account and access a range of benefits offered by the university. The UAA Blackboard portal is a secure and safe environment that will keep your information safe.
Course shells
If you are using Blackboard as part of your online teaching, you may already have a course shell. This type of course shell is automatically created in Blackboard uaa for courses with course reference numbers. These shells are viewable only by faculty. They can add materials to them and design the structure of the course. They can also copy course materials from semester to semester.
The course shell includes items for additional structure, such as Class Notes, Overview, and This Week’s Activities. Additionally, it creates an Assignment link on the left-hand course menu. These links will allow you to set up the assignment tool within the appropriate folders. You can add a course shell in two ways: as an instructor or as a member of the Online Learning Team.
User removal for inappropriate behavior
If you believe a student has engaged in inappropriate behavior in a Blackboard Learn course, you can request that the University remove the student’s account from the course shell. This process can be initiated by instructors in Blackboard Learn, by changing the student availability in the Control Panel, or by contacting the UAA Technical Support Center. In both cases, you will need to provide a written request from the instructor of record, department chair, or dean.
If you wish to manually remove a student from a Blackboard Learn course, you can do this by logging into UAA Blackboard. After logging in to Blackboard, you can see the user’s name in the My Courses module, and you can also find the course roster in the Control Panel. The course roster lists all users in the course, including instructors and TAs. To remove a user, click on the user’s name, and then select Remove User from Course.
